Because Hate Is Not A Family Value
Heh...
Mr. Feder is evidently not too brite. He imagines a hypothetical conversation between a younger John Roberts and his associates, pre-Romer:
Mr. Feder... you are cordially invited to bite the CBWSTGJR. You're welcome to your opinion, but don't ASSume you're opinions are widely shared.
*Do* stop by and take the John Roberts Poll. I was going to cross-post it here, but then realized that would probably mess up the poll results.

Joining the growing chorus of wingnuts objecting to the nomination of John Roberts to the Supreme Court because he doesn't think gays are evil and should be imprisoned is Don Feder, moonbat extraordinaire.
Mr. Feder is evidently not too brite. He imagines a hypothetical conversation between a younger John Roberts and his associates, pre-Romer:
Their conversation might have gone something like this:
Smith: "John, I'd like you to help us get civil-rights status for homosexuals. We want to negate the will of Colorado voters, further eroding representative government in this country. We hope to establish the precedent that a state's voters are to have no say over whether localities can create special rights based solely on performing certain sex acts."
Roberts: "Delighted to help. I have no serious concern about marshalling the troops for this particular assault on Judeo-Christian values."
Mr. Feder... you are cordially invited to bite the CBWSTGJR. You're welcome to your opinion, but don't ASSume you're opinions are widely shared.

We are not saying that Judge Roberts is gay. But even if he is, the Conservative Bloggers Who Support the Gay Justice Roberts still support him. Even if he is gay.

Don Feder was a very well-read columnist at the Boston Herald for wuite a while -- he was always way out there on the right fringe, and I'm not surprised he's teetering on the tin hat ledge.

I had never heard of him, before today.
And after reading *that* little diatribe, I hope never to hear of him again. What a maroon.
